Ideas to get involved in the community
- Follow what is going on via a locally focused Facebook site: All About Alkham
- Take some walks around the village: Alkham.org re: Footpaths
- Attend meetings of the Alkham Parish Council
- The APC has dwindled in size, so consider joining that as well.
- It may be a challenge, so at least follow updates on their site.
- If you want to create a club, the Alkham Village Hall is a great place to congregate.
- There is a nominal fee, but your really can’t beat it…
- At some point, we’ll find/share a list of activities held there.
- Examples: Monthly Tea & Chat, Alkham Voices Choir, Sit Fit light fitness club.
